Build, take apart and rebuild infinitely - this has been Meccano's promise to children since 1901. But why should this game be only for children? To reply to this question, Vincent Boutillier and Christophe Piquemal, two fans of the game had the idea of developing the concept of these metallic parts to make a range of modular furniture.
Thus, a collection of parts to assemble was created to let your imagination run free. By fixing the modules together with the famous system of screws and nuts, strengthened in this case, it is possible to make several different types of furniture. A table can be extended by changing the size of the main plate. The legs of a low table can become that of a lamp, a storage unit or a stool, according to your desires.
The parts are developed, designed and made in France. The price of parts varies according to the size and colours chosen. For example, a low table (4 legs + a 90*60 top) comes to around 239 ?. For the moment, the collection is only available at the Parisian store, AchatDesign.
