This is the 22nd location in the UK for Dr. Martens: a three-floor flagship store just opened on Oxford Street in London. Classic or seasonal, the full footwear and clothing collections are there, along with all accessories. Wall elevations will tell you all about the Dr. Martens story and how a simple boot did became such an icon. The store also features a huge 1460 boot made out of smashed vinyl, a unique artwork made by Robi Walters, and displays various souvenirs such as two pairs of The Clash's Mick Jones very own boots. Various free events will happen throughout September to celebrate the opening of this creatively designed store.
Another famous boot is the Classic from UGG Australia and it has its addicts too. The Australian brand picked Liverpool for its very first pop-up store at Liverpool One, on Paradise Street. The 125 square metre concept store opened last week-end and offers selected items from the Autumn/Winter collections for women, men, kids, home and accessories. Their Infinite UGG service enables you to have a look on the entire collection through a digital booth and to order pieces that are not available in the store with a delivery (or pick-up) the day after. Just to make sure our feet stay warm this winter.
