Tony Hadley, 54, already has a great career as a singer and songwriter. His band, Spandau Ballet, was one of the 80's most famous hit maker. But music is not the only interest in Hardley's life. The crooner has been a beer enthusiast for decades and he has always wanted to create his own barley beverage, a “brilliant summer ale” as he calls it. Today is not the first time that Tony Hadley appears on the beer market. Seven years ago he was still co-owning a small brewery called Red Hat, in Suffolk. Unfortunately the traditionally-made beer producer had to close but Hadley does not give up that easily. He has partnered with the Great Yorkshire Brewery, a far bigger structure, to increase the production of his beer. It means that more people will be able to enjoy it, and that he can be truly confident in its quality and taste. Together they're launching Hadley's Gold, a 4% ABV lager which is made in the North York Moors National Park. Hadley's Gold is described as a “true golden lager, crisp and refreshing with a fruity aftertaste”. A 330ml bottle costs £2,50.
