For 21 years, AllSaints has been offering stylish clothes with a modern and original twist. The brand's leather clothes, especially the biker jackets, have become iconic pieces and that's where Wil Beedle, AllSaints creative director, went to find his inspiration for the first handbag collection. After going through 21 years of archive, he created 51 pieces for this new product category, The Handbag, and named it The Capital Collection. Deliberately, there are no big metal pieces or huge logos on the bags: they're supposed to reflect someone's personality, not be the brand's advertising tools.
The Capital Collection consists in four different lines, each named after a street around AllSaints creative studio in London: The Club, The Darling, The Fleur de Lis and The Paradise. Various styles of bags are featured. Clutch, cross-body, mini, bowling, tote, hobo, satchel, shoulder bag... most of the pieces, all made with the finest cow leather, are declined in several colours. The Capital Collection is exclusively available online, prices vary from £98 for the Club Mini Crossbody to £328 for the Darling tote or bowling bags.
