Following a PETA video showing mistreatment of angora rabbits in China, the Inditex textile group (Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear) has removed angora wool articles from its shelves and stopped their production.
Zara, the fast-fashion retailer which hail from Spain has always had a flexible business model. They are able to respond quickly to fashion trends, the weather and they are able to turn stock around quickly, which all work to keep the customers coming in.
February 2019 will see Zara open their biggest store ever, in Essex. Zara will be increasing the size of their existing shop at the Intu Lakeside shopping centre, meaning that they will not take up an area of 35,000 square foot.
