Created by Roy Raymond in 1977 in San Francisco, Victoria’s secret is an underwear brand, well know for its glamour and colorful creations. The creator wanted to make a brand that is affordable and glamourous for women. He also wanted to create a store concept where men could also feel comfortable with.

The first store opened at Stanford Shopping Center (California) and soon became popular. Just one year later, Roy Raymond opened a few more stores and created a mail order catalog. Victoria’s secret’s popularity became stronger in 1995 with its first fashion show in New York.

In 2012, Victoria’s secret opened its first store in the UK and started to expend on the European continent.
